Why live photos?
In the app we require live camera shots—gallery uploads don’t cut it. Live shots keep the quote tied to the real space—and the room label has to match.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. You see the quote before you pay. What you book is what you pay for that job.
What happens to my photos?
Intake photos are sent to automated analysis to build your quote—we don’t retain those bytes after pricing. No human reviews them for quoting. Your assigned cleaner sees photos tied to your booking (intake and proof); you keep proof shots with the job record.
What's included in the quote?
A standard clean: kitchen, bathroom(s), bedrooms, living areas, floors, surfaces, and trash. Oven, fridge, laundry, ironing, windows, and balcony are optional add-ons you pick separately.
How are cleaners vetted?
Wype only works with incorporated, insured cleaning companies—not individual freelancers. We’re very selective: partners must carry GL insurance with care/custody/control coverage, pass our review, and have a track record and reputation we’re comfortable standing behind. Most companies that apply don’t make it on.
Where do you clean?
Montreal Island only for now. Outside Île de Montréal? Tell us your city on the waitlist—we use it to plan expansion.
Can I book on the website?
Bookings work best in the iOS app (camera intake, payments, live tracking, and proof). A web booking flow also exists for accounts that need it. Android? Join the waitlist and we’ll notify you at launch.
